What is Rooted?
Rooted provides the opportunity to connect with God, the church community and your purpose in unexpected life-changing ways. Think of Rooted as a personal journey – a journey with the goal of deepening your connection with God, His Church and your purpose in the big, epic story He is writing through human history.
Rooted is a catalyst for life-change that provokes questions and conversations and offers beyond-what-is-comfortable group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.
Rooted is a 10-week experience that is most effective if every participant attends weekly and misses no more than two classes. The registration fee for Rooted is $30 per person.
This is one of the most important experiences that we do here at FishHawk Fellowship Church so you don’t want to miss it, especially if you are new to FFC or new to your relationship with God.
Rooted will begin in the Fall 2022
and sign-ups will be available in August.
The Fall Rooted Experience begins Tuesday, September 13th

Rooted isn’t simply a bible study or a book. It is a community experience, where people practice 7 rhythms essential to a healthy relationship with Jesus.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I purchase a Rooted Book and go through it on my own or with some friends?
The Rooted Book is the participant guide for the Rooted Group Experience; therefore, it is not intended for individual use. Books are only available for purchase to churches who are providing the Rooted Group Experience.
Why do I have to pay?
Rooted is a 10-week experience that includes a workbook participant guide, a Group Rally during Week 1, and a Celebration Event at the end. Your fee helps cover the cost of your book, both events, helps to provide scholarships for others who need financial aid, and helps provide childcare. We believe you will see the value of this experience once you have completed it.
When do I get my materials?
We ask everyone to register for the Group Rally taking place at the beginning of each Rooted semester (A Rooted Experience Link is emailed to all group members who sign up for a Rooted Group). Workbooks are available to pick up at the Rooted Group Rally. Payment can be completed when you register for the Rooted Group Experience Rally.
Is there childcare available for Rooted?
Childcare is available for walkers through 5th grade for the Group Rally, the Celebration Event, and for Tuesday night on-campus Rooted Groups.
How do I register if I need financial aid?
Financial aid is available to help those who are experiencing financial hardship but want to be part of the Rooted Experience. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please email smallgroups@fishhawkfc.org with a brief description of why you are requesting financial aid. Our scholarship team will determine the scholarship amount awarded and you will be notified as to what was awarded to you. At that time, you can complete your registration process.
