Frequently asked Questions...
What time are services?
We offer three Sunday services, at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Children ages kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to attend "Praise Kids", our children's worship services, in Building B during the regular service times.
What should I wear?
Our services are contemporary and casual, and you are welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, from jeans to dresses.
Where do I park?
If you are a first time guest, we have specially designated parking spaces directly in front of our building just for you. Just tell our parking attendant that you are a guest or flash your lights and he or she will direct you to one of these spaces.
How will I know where to go?
When you arrive at our church, one of our friendly "Greeters" will make you feel welcome, and direct you to the Worship Center.
Is childcare offered?
On Sundays, childcare is offered through our nursery for babies through pre-school. For children ages kindergarten through 5th grade, we offer "Praise Kids", our children's worship which is held upstairs in Building B during the regular service times.
How will I know when to stand?
During the services, our Worship Leader directs the congregation when to stand, usually during the singing portion, when reading God's word, and sometimes during prayer. If you have disabilities that prevent you from standing, please just sit and enjoy the service.
Do I need to bring my Bible to services?
Since our pastor teaches directly from God's word, if you have a Bible please bring it with you. We frequently refer to both the Old & New Testament, so you might want to keep the index at the front of your Bible handy to help you find the passages.
Do you have services for children?
For children ages kindergarten through 5th grade, we offer a worship service known as "Praise Kids" upstairs in Building B during our regular service times. See Children's Ministry page for more information.
Are invitations given during the service?
During the closing song of each service, the pastor stands at the front of the church facing the congregation. This is known as the "invitation." Simply walk forward and express to our pastor your desire for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, your wish to join our church, or simply to share any special need you may have.
Do I need to give an offering when I visit?
If you are a first time guest, all we ask is that you fill out a connection card, and place that in the offering plate. All others, please give as you feel led by the spirit.
Is Communion offered during the service?
We celebrate communion or the Lord's Supper quarterly and during special days such as Christmas and Easter. Please call our office at (813) 655-7431 if you have any further questions regarding communion.
What Bible Study classes are offered on Sundays?
See "
Connect" and Life Groups for specific classes that are offered.
